What data we access

We request view-only read access to your existing POS, billing, or operations management software. This includes platforms such as Petpooja, Posist, Zenoti, GoFrugal, Marg, Tally, or CSV exports you provide directly. We read transaction-level data, inventory and purchase records, staff rosters, and sales summaries necessary to identify operational leaks.

What we never access

We do not access and will never request access to:

• →Declared revenue or GST filings
• →Bank accounts, payment gateways, or financial instruments
• →Tax records of any kind
• →Employee personal records beyond shift and attendance data

Data retention

Data accessed during a diagnostic engagement is retained for the duration of the engagement plus 30 days. After that period, all copies are deleted from our systems. Clients on monthly retainer agree to a rolling 30-day retention window per data source.

How to revoke access

Access is revocable at any time by revoking the credentials or view-access permissions you granted during onboarding. No notice period is required. Email arihant@fifthdecimal.in and we will confirm revocation within 24 hours and delete all associated data within 7 days.
